Pet Picture of the Day

Ok, she's not really our pet, but this picture is too funny.

NYC Trip

We went to Rockefeller Center with D.J., Christa and their friend Garrett. It was really cold, but we had a great time.

Graceland

On our long trip across the state of Tennessee, we stopped off at the King's home.

It was a nice house, but rather modest for a mansion, by today's standards.

We learned that Elvis was a twin. His brother died at birth. Interesting factoid. Elvis is buried with his brother, mother and father on the property.

Taking care of business.

Cadillac Ranch

The Cadillac Ranch, also located in Amarillo was a must see.

We contributed to the evolving piece of artwork.

We left our mark.

So cool.

Big Texan Steak House

We stopped in Amarillo, Texas to see the home of the "Free 72 oz. Steak". The restaurant has a 72 oz. steak dinner. If you can eat the entire DINNER in less than an hour, it's free.

The restaurant provides free limo rides to and from the steak house.

Barringer Crater

We visited the best preserved meteor crater in the world, the Barringer Crater in Winslow, Arizona. The crater is 4,000 feet in diameter. We couldn't fit the whole crater in one picture.

Grand Canyon

One of our first stops was the Grand Canyon. None of us had been prior, so it seemed like an appropriate place to stop.

Cali loves National Parks and Forests. She stood on the edge of the rocks and looked out into the Canyon.

Huge Elk. There were three females with him as well. A small part of us was terrified he would suddenly charge.

The deer were frighteningly close to the road.
